Interview Skills

I haven't met a person who loves going through the recruitment process.  Most Instructional Designers are contractors, so every 3 or 6 months it's time to start feeling those anxious recruitment jitters.  

When you work with ID Recruitment you will be working with a dedicated career coach or Relationship Manager.  Your Relationship Manager will get to know you, your skills, what you like and don't like and how you can best market your skills when you are being interviewed.  We will also give you advice on CV/Portfolio presentation.

Career Advice

After evaluating your CV, we will provide career advice to assist in developing your skills.  We can also provide you with helpful links to set up an ABN as well as insurances.

Support Throughout Your Contract

Your Relationship Manager will be the person to provide you support throughout your contract.  They'll also work with you towards the end of the contact to either move forward with an extension or assist you with obtaining another contract. Yes you read correctly...

Please leverage the Relationship Manager to raise any concerns or challenges you have whilst engaged with ID Recruitment. It is important to us that you feel as though you are a part of the ID Recruitment team and together we are delivering successful outcomes for our clients. The Relationship Manager will be making regular fortnightly (at a minimum) contact with you. It is preferred that this is done face-to-face. However, we understand that you will be busy so can do this via phone if needed. The purpose of this meeting is to:

• Identify any issues and risks we can help you with

• Identify any successes we should be making our clients aware of

• Provide a sounding board for any problems and how ID Recruitment will be able to assist

• Help with any Instructional Design resources you may require

• View some of your deliverables

• Discuss any opportunities that you may have identified
